The post quickly gained massive traction on X, collecting 90000 likes as it was widely shared across the platform. Some users even suggested that the image showed fans celebrating Kai Havertz’s penalty, further fuelling the speculation.


However, the claims were soon debunked, with it confirmed that no such figure appeared in the stadium during the FIFA World Cup 2026. Several users pointed out that the original image had been misrepresented, sharing the unaltered photo that simply showed fans celebrating normally in the stands.

While, as the truth emerged, the internet also reacted with humour, with some users quickly jokingly claiming that even the late dictator had managed to get World Cup tickets before them. One of the viral posts showed the video with Hitler in it, and the caption read, “Am I tweaking?”
