On May 21, Netflix revealed production for season six had officially started in Greece alongside brand-new behind-the-scenes photos featuring Lily Collins and Darren Star on set.

But Greece is apparently only the beginning.

The streaming giant also confirmed the cast and crew will head to Monaco during filming, meaning Emily’s final season is somehow becoming even more glamorous and unrealistic than before.


At this point, Emily Cooper has basically become Europe’s most overdressed frequent flyer.

Netflix has not confirmed an exact release date yet, but the final season is expected to arrive sometime in 2026.

Season five premiered in December 2025 after filming wrapped earlier that year, so fans are already predicting another late-year release schedule for the finale.
